Nancy Gallop

Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, Nancy was raised in Chicago, Illinois.  She trained in the arts at the Chicago Art Institute, Bradley University, and UCLA. A professional ceramist for more than 30 years, Gallop works in myriad artistic mediums including, painting, sculpting, and most recently, jewelry.
Gallop’s world has always included two things, art and a critter family.  There was Tippy the beagle, Tom the turtle, rescue dog Bandit, and even 14 baby rabbits found abandoned by their mother in her backyard one cold Chicago spring.   Now residing in Arizona, Gallop shares her home with rescues Harley the cat and two playful pooches Shayna and Eddie.  Gallop is a strong advocate for pet rights and donates her time and means to support rescue efforts.
Given Gallop’s love and long-time dedication to animal welfare causes, it was only natural that her human jewelry line ultimately expanded to include designs for the pampered pet. Marketed under the label Gems4Paws, Gallop’s pet line is carried in upscale pet boutiques worldwide.
